Aria Rose

Aria Rose Pottery, Washburn, WI

I make art impulsively and am greatly inspired by post-impressionism & folk art.

Working with terracotta clay, I focus on alternative finishing methods; dipping the pots in a white sip so that I can draw and paint unique designs on each piece.

When not busy in my home pottery studio, you can find me out in the garden or at the beach with my son, Arlo — who also loves to get covered in clay in the ceramics studio.

I also love dabbling in oil pastels, painting, and print-making, although the same colors and themes carry through my work in many different mediums.
